Grants and funding available

CITB-ConstructionSkills Grants

All our courses attract Grants from ConstructionSkills and we can also claim these funds back from ConstructionSkills on your behalf at a fee of 15% of the grants received by the company.

To be eligible to claim grants you will need to be registered for ConstructionSkills Levy, however, you may not have to pay a levy contribution to claim grants. On top of your grant payment you may be able to claim an extra 25% supplementary payment subject to the availability of Levy funding if you have completed your Levy Return and pay by Direct Debit in monthly instalments.

We can also assist you in the development of your company training plan.

For more information on grants available through ConstructionSkills you can contact the Grants Department on 0844 8440046 or alternatively click on the link to visit their website ConstructionSkills Grants.

ConstructionSkills - LearningSkills Funding (LSC)

Seaham Safety Services Limited  are accredited by the LSC and are able to achieve funding to carry out NVQs free of charge. Our Training Manager can carry out an assessment of your workforce to determine how many of your personnel are eligible for a free NVQ.

Whether your employees qualify for a free NVQ or not, you will still be able to achieve grants for NVQs through ConstructionSkills if you are registered with them.

Funded NVQs

Free NVQs are funded through Train to Gain, the national skills service that supports employers of all sizes and in all sectors to improve the skills of their employees as a route to improving their business performance. Train to Gain is a joint investment between you and the Government to boost your business by improving the skills of your individual staff members.

First Full Level 2 qualification (equivalent to 5 good GCSEs)

For employees who don’t already have a full Level 2 qualification, we provide funding for literacy, numeracy and English language skills, plus their first Level 2 qualification. There is funding available for a number of additional Level 2 qualifications.  Just contact your skills broker, college or training provider to find out more.
